Special Message
From President Justin

Dear Reno South Rotarians;

If you have not already heard, our fellow RSR member and past president, Dave Galloway, suffered a stroke last Thursday.  Fortunately, his wife Linda noticed the symptoms immediately and got him to the hospital.  He is recovering at Renown’s Rehabilitation Hospital, located at 1495 Mill Street.  Unfortunately, at the time of this letter, I do not know what room Dave is in at the facility.  Ask at the reception area should you go by and they will direct you.

Dave is doing as well as can be expected after having a stroke.  He has all his cognitive abilities, can speak well, and he can think clearly.  He has some after effects from the stroke, which is to be expected.

We as a club should do what we can to help Dave and Linda.  Press Clewe has offered to coordinate the effort to do whatever we can.  As Dave continues to recuperate, and eventually goes home, they would most likely appreciate help with cooking meals, chores around the house, etc.  Press will likely be contacting members to ask for help.

Let’s all keep Dave and Linda in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!

Thank you for supporting our club members when they are in need.
Sincerely,

Justin Taylor
