District Governor Jeff  (Rotary Club of Bishop) was a very enjoyable and forward-thinking speaker--if all District Governors are like Jeff, Rotary is in great hands moving forward

Bob Stewart was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow by the club for his outstanding service, and Bob and Jonnie Pullman were awarded the Heart of Rotary pin.
 
Jason Morris was awarded the Quiet Rotarian for his service "behind the scenes".  He was so quiet, we didn't notice him at the meeting...
 
Kate Nickolls rang the bell for a trip to Louisiana, and for winning her age group in a 5K run in Berkeley.
Stan Goodin shared the news of a hunting trip with friends where no one saw any game but had a wonderful drive and for completing the last P.T. appointment for his shoulder replacement
Liz Heiman celebrated the great business opportunities she is experiencing due to the perceived economic recession

How should Rotary Club of Reno South celebrate the holidays together?  It has been suggested that we emulate the "Friendsgiving" model and meet with a pot luck and perhaps celebratory games.  Any thoughts out there?

Reno South joined Reno Central in providing an annual senior Thanksgiving Dinner celebration for seniors living alone or in care facilities. Several Reno South Rotarians signed up and assisted--from carving the turkey to serving
