Dear Reno South Rotarians;

From Jonnie Pullman:

Hi--delivered the card & an edible arrangement bouquet. Dave is in room 115 of Renown Rehab just east of the hospital on Mill.

He was in good spirits, expects the recovery to be lengthy--but a real recovery. Cannot move or lift his left arm & leg. Still on puréed food (apparently puréed pork chop is pretty disgusting) but happy to get real peaches yesterday.

A bit bored. I think an ideal gift would be some kind of audio reader that he could operate with is right hand but I have no clue what's out there. Do either of you?

"So, just talked with Linda. She sounds upbeat and recognizes the hard and busy work done today in evaluation.

Linda recommends visits in late afternoon, about 4:30~

I mentioned we want to help her with some respite time to rest, collect herself...time-off. She likes that idea. Please pass on

Dave is going through significant therapy, physical, occupational, speech and issues around getting muscles on his weak/paralyzed side moving and activated. His speech is quite clear and memory is good. The therapy does wear him out, but he enjoys seeing friends.

Linda is doing well, upbeat and active.
