Funcitional Medicine, an introduction to the future of medicine
Mar. 28, 2019
The focus and purpose of FM is to get to the root of poor health or disease instead of simply dispensing a medication. Medications will often suppress the symptoms of disease, but do not restore the natural balance and physiology of the body. As a result of restoring that balance, the need for medications is eliminated and true quality health is restored. As a beneficial consequence, one can expect the absence of side effects, better quality of life, and extended health and life spans https://www.wellcentrichealth.com/ |

Annual RSR Picnic and BBQ at Lake Tahoe Burnt Cedar Beach 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Burnt Cedar Beach is a private beach, so please be sure to register you and your family so we can get a head count as well as put your name on a list for access into the facility. Admission to the beach is paid at the gate and is $15 per adult, $5 for kids 6-17, and free for children under 5 years old. IMPORTANT! NO pets and NO glass allowed in the park. Children under 10 must be supervised at all times. We have reserved the "EAST END" Group Picnic Area which is in the trees at the far end of the parking lot after entering Burnt Cedar facility. The parking lot can get rather full, so you may need to drop off your family and gear then wait for a spot to open or park outside of the facility. Burnt Cedar Beach has a terrific beach for swimming, along with kayak and paddle board rentals. There is a large pool, bar and snack bar, as well as large grassy areas, a children's playground and volleyball court. Pack up your family, beach chairs, swimsuits, towels, Frisbee, cornhole or other games, and come early to enjoy a day at Tahoe! You may pack up a picnic lunch (remember, NO GLASS) or eat at the snack bar. (Note: We put an estimated cost of $40 per adult but expect it to be less. We will tally the costs after the event and charge members actual cost at following club meeting.) This is a terrific opportunity to invite family or prospective RSR members. A separate link to the volunteer page will be sent so you can sign up to bring a potluck item for dinner and we'll take care of the drinks and main course (steak, shrimp and hotdogs for the kids.) Get set for a fantastic time at Tahoe with friends and family!
