Speaker Dec 3
Sheriff Darin Balaam

Sheriff Balaam, Washoe County's 27th since 1861, spoke candidly and at length about the current happenings at the Sheriff's Department, including coping with Covid, and new programs put in place in the community and in the jail.

Sheriff Balaam is a 5th generation Nevadan, and is father preceded him as Sheriff as well.  Thank you to Denny Williams for securing the Sheriff as our speaker.

(You, too, can help us have good programs--let Bob and Jonnie know of your ideas...)

More about the meeting...

Adrienne Thomle paid a prodigious amount --one for every year on our planet-- to celebrate her birthday (but she's still younger than Jonnie...)

Matt Thornton pledged a contribution in celebration of family and home surviving the recent fire...
