Our speaker on Thursday the 23th was 
 Dr. Karen Gadney, author of 30 Years Behind Prison Bars spoke about her experiences at the Northern Nevada Correctional Facility in Carson City.  Our members and guests were spellbound, but if you want to know what she said, you'll have to buy the book! Dr. G. had researched Rotary and connected her experiences with Rotary values. (Thank you Moira Todd for help with the pictures)
Dr. G also reminded us that 90% of all prisoners return to our communities, and it may be in all our best interests to consider this important fact.  Thank you, Press Clewe, for inviting this impressive speaker. She was so inspiring, Dan Carne contributed to Prez Adrienne's Inspiration Board.

- Jason Morris celebrated his 6th wedding anniversary with new baby in tow!
- Reg Willison and wife Shelly will celebrate their 41st anniversary on the 27th
- Alexis Riggs celebrated her 18th anniversary with husband Russ on 7/27.  Also, her father was visiting with us from Tuscaloosa, Alabama!
- Bob Stewart shared stories and pictures from his recent trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland.
- Dan Carne shared a heartwarming thank you letter from a student RSR sponsored for RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards)
