August 11

Yo! Adrienne!

August 9 Picnic

As usual, both the company and the food were terrific!  Not to mention cooler than in the valley-- and less smoke

Prez Adrienne Welcomed everyone and thanked all who helped --especially Holly Bromley and Kent Wood
One table out of many...thanks to Moira Todd for assisting with picture-taking.  Anyone feeling left out can blame it on the editor...and help with pictures next time!
Heidi Howe looks happy to abandon the campaign trail for an evening--hubby Bill just looks tired
 More of us...
August 9 Picnic

Too many cooks definitely didn't hurt this party! It was a bounty of delicious--those who didn't attend missed out!
It was wonderful to see long-time member Jim Muff and his wife Barbara!
Therapy dog-and-ambassador-to-be, Copper, provided us with entertainment

ORIENTATION FOR ACHIEVEMENT BEYOND OBSTACLES VOLUNTEERS!!!
After meeting and observing our ABO students, you've likely wondered how you can help!  There is  an orientation this Thursday, August 16, 6:00 pm at the Great Basin Brewery on McCarron and Virginia.  You can serve as a liaison or help with Leadership Weekend or many other choices small and large.  Come and learn about it and enjoy a cool beverage.
Paula Stieg, our Rotary Youth Exchange Student (RYE) attended her first day at Wooster High School where she is a junior.  She plays Futbol (soccer to Americans) and plans to try out for the team.  She also skis--something to keep in mind this winter.

Paula is a great English-speaker.  Please call Dan Carne to make arrangements for Paula to join events and family outings in our community.  She's a potential future Rotarian--Let's make it a year to remember for her!
