Nick Tscheekar from the Community Foundation of

Western Nevada gave an excellent presentation on the purpose of the Community Foundation (to promote & facilitate local philanthropy and personal giving) and financial scams aimed at the elderly (most of us, actually).

In addition to the 30+ Rotarians in attendance, approximately 10 joined via Zoom. You, too, can join in on a hybrid meeting if you cannot attend in person. The link is sent each week.

Jason Morris paid $50 for a New York City getaway (testing stations at every corner!) while his children stayed with grandparents.

Let's make 2022 the "Year of Recovery" by getting back to in-person Rotary Club meetings on a weekly basis!

Our partners of the Rotary Club of Reno Central informed us of a challenge to attend as many meetings as possible this January, and to make 2022 the "Year of Recovery". If we can increase our in-person attendance can regain momentum for the New Year, and the result could allow us to proclaim 2022 as the "Year of Recovery". We are better than this darn virus!

As per our contract, we are obliged to let the Atlantis know how many of us will be there--always tricky, but do your best!
