Speaking of welcome, we had 2 visitors: Caren Christen and Russ Restine.

Press Clewe paid $1 per hole for 54 holes in Puerto Vallarta to celebrate his rediscovered drive after back surgery.

Dan Carne updated us on the RYE program- our Emily here and our Emily in Sweden are both doing well, with Emily in Reno moving to a new host family imminently. But, we need a host family by the end of July for us to have another RYE student next fall. Please contact Dan if you are aware that you or a friend can host.

January 21 - Rotary Means Business at Engine 8 Urban Winery, 1260 Avenue of the Oaks Suite #150, Sparks 6:00-7:30 p.m.

January 31, 2020 - District 5190 Area 8 Foundation Dinner at Atlantis Casino and Spa. Guest speakers are Wyn Spiller on Foundation Opportunities and Diaz Dixon the Eddy House Executive Director. Both are excellent speakers. Cost: $55.00 per person. This is an enjoyable and worthwhile event honoring our local donors and the good works of Rotary, and an opportunity to meet and visit with Rotarians from all 8 area clubs. March 18 (Wednesday). Rotary Means Business convenes at High Sierra Industries, with special activities and refreshments. Please plan to attend this evening event and support Rotary and our 3 Rotarians who are a part of HSI.
