Garrett Barmore, Museum Curator at the Keck Earth Science Museum, provided a No photo description available.

fascinating program about the Comstock Lode, W M Mackey and Virginia City--with pictures--to a packed house! If you missed this one, you should be sad. Garrett promised to be available for another history program in the year, and to work with RSR to set up a field trip.

Let's make 2022 the "Year of Recovery" by getting back to in-person Rotary Club meetings on a weekly basis!

Our partners of the Rotary Club of Reno Central informed us of a challenge to attend as many meetings as possible this January, and to make 2022 the "Year of Recovery". If we can increase our in-person attendance can regain momentum for the New Year, and the result could allow us to proclaim 2022 as the "Year of Recovery". We are better than this darn virus!

Dr. Sherif Elfass, Research Associate Professor - University of Nevada, Reno

Dr. Elfass will share information about the "shake table" at the UNR Engineering Department. The Shake Table is part of a nationally recognized area of study at UNR. The official title of the presentation is "Experimental and Analytical studies of seismic performance of foundations," but don't let that fool you--this will be interesting.
