New Member Induction

We inducted a new member into Reno South Rotary. Traci Williams, Area Director of Arosa Care. Traci has attended many of our meetings, and she has chosen to make a personal difference, serve our community and make new friends with Reno South. Welcome, Traci!

Program

Isabel Landette Martinez

Isabel provided a recap of her year in Reno (her host parents attended, too). But as she was ready to tell us all about her home country (Spain) and hometown (Alacante), she discovered her power point had malfunctioned--there were no pictures.

Luckily, Isabel is quick on her feet, and she continued without the pictures and did a marvelous job. We are sorry to see her leave.

The Rotary Club of Reno South has regular meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each month.

Join us at Swill for the meeting of this Rotary year on Thursday, June 15. The meeting will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. and adjourn at 5:30 p.m.

Diaz Dixon,

Performance Driven Consulting, LLC

Diaz is an integral part of our community, having led Eddy House at the apex of their growth, and Step 2 for more than 10 years. (Reno South Rotary installed a landscaping project for Step 2 during his tenure). Diaz conducts seminars and speaks nation-wide.

Annual Family Picnic at Burnt Cedar Beach - Incline Village, Lake Tahoe

Join us for one of Reno South Rotary's marquee events of the year!!

Kent Wood has reserved the "center" picnic area for us from 3-8 pm; however, the beach and pool facilities are available to our group all day. Costs for entry into the venue are $15 per adult and $5 for youth ages 6-17. Children under age 6 are admitted free.

Smoked BBQ ribs, shrimp kabobs, and grilled steaks will be served as the main entree along with side dishes provided by our members. Please plan to share your favorite "picnic" side dish as we gather together for a family-style dinner at approximately 5:30-6:00 pm. Also, plan to bring your own beverages, or beverages to share.
