Steve Schroeder joined Reno South Rotary and shared information about the history and development of the soon-to-open Reno Public Market (formerly Shoppers Square). The food hall, which is the centerpiece of this development, will host 18 vendors, all locally owned.

Reno South hopes to hold our meetings there soon--so this is an important meeting. Let's have a good crowd to welcome Steve! For more information:

RSR "Good Deeds"

Several RSR volunteers assisted Reno Midtown Rotary staffing the ice cream and beer booths at the Air Races.

On Sept 24, RSR and Downtown Rotary partnered with Computer Corps and Redwood Industries to recycle Lithium and rechargeable batteries and battery powered E-waste at the Auto Museum on Mill Street. Thank you's to Bev Carne, Tori DellaRocca, Bob Stewart, Reg and Shelley Willison, Press Clewe and Jonnie Pullman. We are looking to make this a more permanent effort in the future.

Reno South Rotary has regular meetings (usually) on the first and third Thursdays AT GREAT BASIN BREWERY (McCARRAN & VIRGINIA STREETS) @4:15p.m. Gather at 4:00.

Please note meeting dates--we are adjusting as the room is available until we have a more permanent location.
