Travels with Reno South Rotary
A social occasion...

Adam says they aren't good to eat--he threw it back...

Members gathered to share some of their favorite travel photos and stories and enjoyed their own favorite beverages while doing so.

Kate Nickolls won the special prize (a real cocktail at a real location as soon as feasible) by identifying the location of the goats in the tree:  the Argon forest in Morocco (near Essaouira.)

One of the best parts of the meeting was a visit with former member Pete Sanborn, now residing in Southern CA  (Laguna Woods).  Pete is doing great, despite a recent bout with chemo, and invites one and all to play golf if you are in SoCal.  Let Jonnie know if you would like his contact info.

RSR Fundraiser - Chef Demonstration

The Fundraising Committee is hard at work finalizing our plans for our cooking demonstration with a celebrated chef.  Thanks to all of you who answered the survey - most of you said YES.  Dates and times coming soon.
____________

Plan to be at our spring community service project (Rotarians at Work Day) in April transplanting more trees to the Washoe Park.  Date soon.

____________

Volunteer community service opportunities, including assisting with KNPB Student Writing Contest (grades 1-3), with Immunize Nevada, and others will be sent in a separate email.
