President Heidi presented the nominations for the 24-25 Officers and Board of Directors, as required by our bylaws:
  • President - LaVonne Brooks
  • Pres-Elect: need to fill
  • Treasurer - Bob Stewart
  • Secretary - Leslie Adams

Club members discussed Reno South Rotary's "Club Focus", which describes the kind of club we want to be--what we care about:
  • Having fun!
  • More participation and engagement (we can't be inclusive and welcoming if only a few are here!)
  • Youth Programs
  • Community Service
  • Fellowship & connection
  • Inclusive, welcoming club
December Service Project
Adopt a Family for the Holidays
A hearty thank-you to organizer extra-ordinaire Kate Nickolls and the members of Reno South who contributed.  Children's Cabinet selected our family of 4 - a hard-working mother and three children ages 7-17.
Collectively we contributed gifts of more than $1,500 -  27 gift cards and 24 wrapped gifts, including gift cards for groceries.  Again, thank you to all for helping spread the holiday cheer.

The Rotary Club of Reno South has regular meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each month @ 4:00 p.m.
