Reno South Rotary was dark on October 29, but the Board of Directors met via zoom on October 27.  
  • Thank you, Masih, for assuming the responsibility of Youth Services chair
  • The Board recommended that the Community Fund pay our annual $5,000 obligation to Achievement Beyond Obstacles and $250 for supplies for Hunter Lake School (The Community Fund Board met on Monday, November 1 and approved these recommendations)
  • A fundraising subcommittee was formed to explore the option of a zoom cooking demonstration to raise revenue. Let Tori know if you are interested in helping!                          (http://(torijauron@gmail.com) 
  • We need a membership chair!  Let Jonnie know if you are interested in serving
Reno South Rotary leads Area 8 clubs in per capita donations for our End Polio Now event:  donations and pledges of $1,125!       
School Supplies, Stationery, Backpack
 
With the $250 from the Club, and donations by members, we collected and delivered the following to Hunter Lake School:
  • 10 library books
  • More than 50 white board tablets for students
  • Dry erasers and markers for the whiteboards
  • More than 100 highlighters and additional washable markers
