Host Family Needed

Y'all-

As has been mentioned on several occassions, we are looking for a second Host Family for our Wooster Foreign Exchange Student - starting sometime after the first of January. As you know, Mashiro has been and currently is living with Holly. Here are a few comments Holly wrote about her amazing "new daughter"! Please consider "hosting" Mashiro for the January - Marchish timeframe or the Marchish - first of June timeframe.

Mashiro is a delightful young woman who enjoys spending time with her host family, and has very easily become just another member of our family. Although she is quiet, she is quite sociable and has a terrific sense of humor. She does not readily initiate conversations, but eagerly engages when asked questions and drawn into a discussion.

As a typical teen, Mashiro really loves hamburgers and pizza, but is quite fond of Italian food, steaks, chicken and nearly any vegetable (other than carrots or peas.) She is also quite fond of dogs and cats, and she is now a favorite of our pets.

Mashiro is a happy young lady who's smile lights up the room. She is self motivated to complete her homework without prompting, and eagerly takes on simple household chores, often without being asked. I can't imagine having a better experience being a host family to an exchange student than we've had hosting Mashiro.

Natchez Elementary School Warm Jacket Drive

Thanks to the Reno South Rotary members that have donated children's jackets! We have collected 40 puffer jackets in the full range of sizes for the boys and girls at Natchez. We are still accepting children's winter jackets in sizes 7/8 through 16. I'll be at the meeting on Thursday, January 11th. Please bring new or gently used jackets. This will be the last collection date.
