"Create Hope in the World"![]() "The goal is to restore hope — to help the world heal from destructive conflicts and, in turn, to help us achieve lasting change for ourselves”. Gordon R. McInally, 2023-2024 President, Rotary International. The Rotary Club of Reno South is celebrating our 50th year of being a club. Starting July 6th, 2023, we will be meeting at a new time and location. Be sure to check out our Club Calendar so you know where to find us. Our club has also committed to organizing service projects and fun activities every month. This means fewer formal meetings and more impact! As the 2023-2024 year kicks off, we will fulfill this year’s theme to “Create Hope in the World” by embracing how we impact our community and the lives of others by “Leading with Love”, ensuring everyone we encounter knows they matter, welcoming them to the Rotary family. If you are looking for a new service-oriented group of good people to meet and want to "Create Hope in the World," please consider joining us. Please click on our Club Calendar to keep up-to-date on all things happening with The Rotary Club of Reno South. Some of the projects we achieved in the 2022-2023 year include:

Foundation Giving

![]() Jonnie Pullman will lead our RI Foundation giving effort this year. She plans to use the tried and true "third, a third and a third" plan where if you put up a third of the amount needed to earn your next (or first) Paul Harris Fellow designation, the club will put up a third and the final third will come from points accumulated and donated by your fellow members for this effort.
